13 mins... or so.
All of these birds were drawn in 12-17 minutes (each) using prismacolour pencils. The Victorian Crowned pigeon is my contribution to Drawing Day, since my original piece just refused to work.
Species are:
Great Blue Heron (a bit of a "Seconds" card)
Oriental Bay Owl
Eider Duck
Crested Puffin
African Skimmer
Hoatzin
Crowned Crane
Victorian Crowned Pigeon
They are for the 13min swap over on Illustrated ATCs where the challenge was to draw all you cards in 13 minutes each. I chose birds as my subject because I like them and because they are quite quick and easy once you get the original sketchwork down. For time saving reasons, they are not inked.
