ATC "Inkworld" series #07-002

Inspired by the series by Cornelia Funke that begins with "Inkheart" and continues in "Inkspell" - a truly enchanting and utterly magical trilogy (yet to conclude). This is Gwin the horned Marten, a blood-thirsty wee critter. Here he has captured one of Roxanne's chickens and presents it proudly to his human companion, Dustfinger.

Awww hehe I read Inkheart just like a month ago. I love Gwin! So Inkspell is out? Did you hear they are making Inkheart into a movie?

I love how cute and innocent he looks. Thats really good face anatomy too (sorry if this comments twice my internet sucks)

There's something about this little composition I find very appealing.. I think its combination of the American folk-art style with the slightly sinister subject matter. very cool.
