This character (named Poem) belongs to and is a particularly odd morph - a Gerenuk. She collects Hanafuda cards, so I decided to depict her as the "deer" because it was the most similar to her species. She has hoof-hands, which makes manual dexterity difficult and thus wears these fake hands, which I imagine are made of metal and hopfully look like it here.
Awww... you know the hanafuda cards! Most pointless game ever, but also inexplicably entertaining. It just doesn't get boring ... LOVE the shading on the hand. Yes, it does look like metal. I would never in a million years be able to pull that off that effect with ... what, colored pencils? So pretty ...
Thank you so much. You're so sweet, drawing all this stuff. <3
Dang, you weren't supposed to see it until your package arrived. Then again, maybe I shouldn't haev uploaded it prematurely ^^ Or has it arrived? It's probably been about a week now. Your chars are nifty!
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
